I want to reassure all Kenyan workers that the proposed 6% minimum wage increase will be implemented before the end of the year. Our economy depends on the growth of the private sector, and fair treatment of workers is crucial.

I will personally visit various workplaces to assess the treatment of employees, ensuring that occupational health standards are met. The Federation of Kenya Employers has pledged full support for maintaining harmony in the Labour sector. Moving forward, the tripartite partnersโ€”comprising the ๐—š๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ป๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜, ๐—™๐—ž๐—˜, ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—–๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ข๐—ฟ๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜‡๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ง๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ ๐—จ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€ (๐—–๐—ข๐—ง๐—จ)โ€”will hold quarterly meetings to address emerging Labour challenges and ensure ongoing dialogue among all stakeholders.
